Privacy Policy

We only collect the information we need to respond to your enquiry, quote for and carry out electrical work. This is mainly what you give us through our quote form or by phone, namely:

• your name
• your phone number
• your email address (if you provide one)
• your postcode or property address
• the service you need (for example a fuse box upgrade, CCTV or an EV charger)
• details of your enquiry or the issue you are experiencing

We use your information to:

• respond to your enquiry and answer your questions
• provide a free, no-obligation quote
• arrange a site visit or call-out where needed
• carry out the electrical work you have asked us to do
• issue electrical installation and safety certificates (Part P / BS 7671) and notify notifiable work where required

We never sell, rent or trade your personal data. We only share information where it is necessary to do the work or meet our legal duties:

• installation details are shared with our competent person scheme (NAPIT) and with Building Control where required for statutory notification of notifiable electrical work
• our trusted service providers process data on our behalf — LeapLayer (website and marketing) and GoHighLevel (our customer management system)

These providers act as our processors and only use your data to help us run the business and serve you. They do not use it for their own purposes.

We keep your information for as long as we need it, and no longer:

• enquiries that do not become jobs — up to 24 months, so we can follow up if you come back to us
• customer and job records — at least 6 years after the job is completed, for tax, accounting and legal reasons
• electrical certificates and related records — these may be kept for longer where required by our certification scheme and regulatory rules

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to how it is used. You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you and to put things right if it is inaccurate.

Please note that some records — such as electrical certificates and statutory notifications — must be kept to meet legal and certification requirements, so we may not always be able to delete them straight away.
